PROGRAMME

 

Friday 14th afternoon/evening

  • 3pm to 7pm: Arrival at Domaine St Joseph (38 Allée Jean-Paul II - 69110 Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon

Welcome Team: VF, LD, PF and PR

  • 4pm to 6pm: Visit of Lyon

Walking in the city, you will discover emblematic places and monuments such as place Bellecour, center, the "vieux Lyon". 

Departure from Domaine Saint Joseph. Transport by personal vehicles or by public transport (bus C20 at 300 m from the Domaine St Joseph going to Place Carnot).

Participants to register well in advance.

  • 7pm: Aperitif
    -Welcome speech by the Mayor of Sainte Foy les Lyon.

  • 8pm: Dinner

-Welcome speeches by the three Governors (during his speech each governor quickly also introduces each club participating and its members)

 

Saturday 15th

9:00 am: Accompanying guests - Departure for the visit of Lyon (Gallo-Roman Museum, Jacobins, Republic, Arts)
Transportation by car pool (Parking at Bellecour).
Each participant pays his/her entrance fees, restaurant……
Participants to register well in advance.

 Morning Session

9h00 - Opening Session: 

  • Welcome by the Governors. 5' each.
  • Review of what has been done so far 20' (by DISCs)
  • Program of the day and organization of the sessions 15' (Organizing committee)

 9h50 - Quick (4’) presentation of clubs looking for one or more contact clubs. Two parts: “our club” and “our expectations”. To declare at registration time.

 10h30 - Coffee break 

11h00 – Future possible common projects.

-Workshop 1: Peace.                             Moderator: JL Perrin, J. Wolff, G. Del Bene
-Workshop 2: Youth.                             Moderator: S.Desitter, G. Simon, M. Perackis
-Workshop 3: Environment.                 Moderator: L.Diguet, KG Strack, R. Bennice

12h30 to 14h00 : Lunch

 Afternoon session

14h00 - Concrete common projects organized by the clubs with the support of the districts the clubs 

 -Workshop 1: European Ryla.

-Workshop 2: Youth exchange, 15 days - 15 teenagers.  

          Moderator: MM. Brun, I. Pelmann-Schaak, P. Rota

-Workshop 3: Club partnerships between the 3 districts.

                 Moderator: S.Desitter, T. Preisendanz, Roberto Mancina

-Workshop 4 and more…:  Concrete proposals resulting from the morning session ?!

 15h 30: Coffee break

 16h00 to 17h30 - Joint video conference (Zoom – see link below) for Rotarians from the 3 districts.

  • 16:30 Thank you remarks, moderation of Q/A and introduction of W.Ischinger (D.Galasso)

Keynote speech by Wolfgang Ischinger, President of the Foundation Council of the Munich Security Conference Foundation

Evening session

18h00 : Wine blind test at the Domaine St Joseph.

Each district provides 2 different wines from the district (3 bottles red and 3 white) => test of 6 wines, 18 bottles for 60 people.

19:00 to 19:30 – Time to rest 

19:30 - Departure for the Brasserie Georges by bus

 20:00 - Dinner at the Brasserie Georges

  • 15’ conference during the dinner: “Rotary and UN” by JL Perrin.
  • Comments, stories about what we are eating: M.Godet

 Sunday 16th

 9:00 – Accompanying guests: Departure for the visit of the Halles Bocuse and/or the Confluences Museum – Car pool from Domaine St Georges – Early registration!

 9:00 - Summary of the previous day's work by the moderators of the groups.

9:30 - Future projects together continuation / Concrete expectations of clubs towards the MRF continuation

  • Workshop 1 to n……..

 9:30 to 10:30 - In parallel Steering Committee session.

 

10h30 : Coffee break

 11h00 : Future of MRF, definition of a common project (VIDEO – ZOOM – link below) 

  • Summary workshop by workshop
  • Outcome of possible future club twinning
  • Action and coordination plan
  • Concluding remarks by the 3 DGs. 

12:20 - Next MRF conference in Germany by D1830’s DG. 

 12:30 - LUNCH
